1-222254 Cristini, Luca Stefano & Gianpaolo Bistulfi Play the Landskencht war 1500-1560 These are paper soldiers to cut out and play the period on the tabletop. The battlefield behavior of these German soldiers was highly variable. Sometimes, as in the Battle of Pavia (1525), they performed exceptionally well, figthing to death on both sides of the conflict, even after their allies fled the field: this happened to the French when they employed the Landsknechts. The Imperial Landsknechts were instrumental in the Emperor's victory. Can you imagine it?1 vol, 52 pgs 2017 ITALY, SOLDIER SHOP

1-2239003 Crippa, Paolo The Tankers of Mussolini The Armored Group M Leonessa of G.N.R. constituted a unicum among the Armed Forces of the Italian Social Republic. In fact, it was the most consistent and operational of the few units equipped with armored vehicles, operating above all in the anti-partisan struggle. But the Leonessa descended directly from the homonymous Tanks Group which, before the Armistice, was part of the 1st Armored Division M of the MVSN, consisting of personnel loyal to the Duce, renamed after July 25th 136th Armored Division Centaur 2nd.

After the Italian surrender, all the material of the Division was confiscated by the Germans, including the Panzer III, the Panzer IV and the Stug.III of the Leonessa. But part of the Division's staff refused to fight against the former allies and, putting the red M's and the black shirt back in search of weapons and tanks in the now empty Italian barracks, to continue the war alongside the Germans.1 vol, 100 pgs 2020 ITALY, SOLDIER SHOP

1-2239005 Crippa, Paolo Bersaglieri's units of the Italian Social Republic The general disarray caused by the Armistice on 8th September 1943 had immediate repercussions on the Bersaglieri units, both present in the Peninsula and abroad.

The Bersaglieri, however, were among the first to reorganize and take up arms again, both in the South, where at the end of September 1943 the LI Battalion of Bersaglieri was included in the First Motorized Grouping, and in the North, where in a short time the Bersaglieri Battalion Mussolini, the Bersaglieri Regiment Luciano Manara and the 3rd Volunteer Regiment were formed.1 vol, 100 pgs 2020 ITALY, SOLDIER SHOP

1-2239007 Crippa, Paolo Italian armored units in the Balkans 1941-1945 The Kingdom of Italy had already possessed the Dodecanese Islands since 1912 and it had the protectorate over Albania since 1926 and, with these assumptions, after the occupation of the Kingdom of Albania in 1939 and the outbreak of the Second World War the following year, Mussolini concentrated his efforts against Greece, starting in October 1940 a disastrous military campaign, which forced the German Reich to a massive intervention in support of the Italian Armed Forces in the Balkans. The Italian military weakness thus transformed what could be considered for Italy a parallel war to secure control of Albania, Greece and Yugoslavia, in a war subordinate to Germany.

This volume analyzes the history of the armored units engaged in the Balkans by the Royal Army and, after 8 September 1943, by the units of the Italian Social Republic, by the German, Croatian, Slovenian and partisan units, which after the Armistice recovered a large part of the abandoned armored vehicles of Italian Army.1 vol, 100 pgs 2020 ITALY, SOLDIER SHOP

The formation of the first armored units of the Army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia dates back to the late 1920s, when military authorities felt the need to equip the units with an armored component, on the basis of the experiences lived during the Great War by the armies engaged in trench warfare. Contrary to what happened with many other European armies at that time, these armored units did not develop as an extension of the cavalry divisions but were instead formed as independent departments, officially called Combat Units.

With these departments, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia faced the Second World War. After the Italian-German invasion of 1941, Independent Croatia and Slovenian collaborative forces formed armored units, employed in the anti-partisan struggle, and the Wehrmacht formed 3 Armored Divisions formed by Croatian volunteers assumptions, after the occupation of the Kingdom of Albania in 1939 and the outbreak of the Second World War the following year, Mussolini concentrated his efforts against Greece, starting in October 1940 a disastrous military campaign, which forced the German Reich to a massive intervention in support of the Italian Armed Forces in the Balkans. 1-223900 Grunlach, Georg At The Gates of Lenigrad The photographs in this book were taken by Feldwebel Georg Gundlach on behalf of the 291 Command. Infanterie-Division, to document the war operations in Russia, illustrate the fighting of the German Division, and in particular the infantry of Infanterie-Regiment 506, during operation Barbarossa through the Baltic States during the winter 1941-1942 and in the swamp and forests of Volchov, in the Leningrad sector.

The photos, often taken in action, depict both the men and the means of the German units employed in these operations, and the extremely harsh living conditions of the civilian population and the Russian soldiers of General Vlassov's 2nd Assault Army inside the Volchov sack, among the unhealthy swamps and inhospitable forests, the scene of bitter fighting.1 vol, 168 pgs 2020 ITALY, SOLDIER SHOP

1-223890 Lombardi, Andrea Krimschild 1941-1942 The photographs in this book illustrate the battles of the 11th German Armee and Romanian units combined with it during Operation Barbarossa in Bressarabia and Ukraine and subsequent operations in Crimea.

The 11th Armee, under the command of Generalobster Eugen Ritter von Schobert, will take part in the invasion of Russia by operating within the Heeresgruppe Sud, with the task of conquering the Crimea and ensuring the safety of the right flank of the Heeresgruppe advance axis.

Hundreds of rare photographs, many of which taken at the height of action, show the first clashes in June 1941 of German and Romanian troops on the Prut river and in Bressarabia, then hard fighting for the Stalin Line, pursuit of the enemy on the Dnieper and its crossing, actions on the Sea of Azov and the breaktrough of the Perekop isthmus, conquest of the Kerch peninsula and Crimea and the beginning of the Sevastopol siege.

After defensive fights of winter 1941-1942, the last part of the book depicts the final assault of the 11th Armee, led at that time by Generalobster Erich von Manstein, to the fortress of Sevastopol and its formidable defences1 vol, 228 pgs 2020 ITALY, SOLDIER SHOP
