Simulation of the WWII Soviet offensive designed to break the German Wehrmacht's Siege of Leningrad. The game system is a continuation of the Black Sea Black Death - Aachen - Borodino '41 system. The game is a slugging match set in a frozen peat bog and bordered by a frozen lake and a frozen river. German troops encircle the worker's settlements and the critical Sinyabino Heights while fortified lines cut through the snow-filled woods. Contains rulebook with historical commentary, one 34x22-inch map, 560 counters, charts and tables, and two dice.
