First mini-campaign scenario in a new series by Henry Hyde. Centers around the domination of a crossroads, regardless of the setting. Presents unique challenges, since there are likely to be significant variations in terrain around the key point, which might demand a great deal of tactical and sometimes strategic nous. Can be used by historical, fantasy, or sci-fi gaming; roleplayers; etc. The setting can be used by a group of adventurers, feuding gangs of post-apocalyptic warriors, a wary platoon of special forces in a hot climate, or a newly-arrived squad of Space Marines as readily as a company of the 95th Rifles in the Peninsula, the 24th Foot in Zululand, or Rommel's 7th Panzer Division charging through France in 1940.
