The fifth and last volume of the series contains the story of the twilight years of the colonial adventure, which ended in Tunisia in 1943. This study of military uniforms and badges of the Italian Royal Army and Royal bodies of colonial troops also contains, as usual, many previously unpublished notes, a more technical uniform study, plus dozens of previously unpublished photographs, as well as 64 color pages containing sketches by Piero Companions, rare vintage photographs, and current photos of relics preserved in the most important Italian collections. This volume also contains an index of the names mentioned in all five volumes.
