Arcole 1796 wargame, the 41st battle of the Jours de Gloire series, focuses on the three days of an indecisive battle in northern Italia (15th to 17th November 1796). It includes three scenarios of one day and a campaign game of three days pitting Bonaparte and the French Army of Italy against Alvinczy commands the Austrian Army.

This Jours de Gloire module introduces a new type of terrain -- the dike -- and very particular tactical options if the battlefield consists of marshes and rice fields, with dikes as only ways for developing maneuvers. The game includes an A2 map, a color player aid and 216 counters and markers. Bilingual Rules and Charts (English/French).
